Frequently Asked Questions: Ordering Eyeglasses

Are your lenses authentic? +

Absolutely. We do not use low-quality generic lenses. We partner with Novacel and Omega Optix (Essilor Group) to provide high-definition prescription lenses. All glasses are assembled and quality-checked by licensed opticians in our facility in France before being shipped internationally.

Can I use my FSA or HSA card? +

Yes, prescription eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses are eligible medical expenses. If your FSA/HSA card has a Visa/Mastercard logo, you can usually use it directly. Otherwise, simply pay with a regular card and use the detailed invoice we email you to claim reimbursement from your benefits administrator.

I don't have my PD (Pupillary Distance). +

Your PD is the distance between your pupils and is needed to center the lenses. It is often missing from prescriptions. Don't worry—we offer a simple tool to measure it using a photo during checkout, or you can email us a selfie holding a standard credit card (for scale) against your forehead.

What is the difference between single vision and progressives? +

Single vision lenses correct one field (distance or reading) and are common for all ages. Progressive lenses (no-line bifocals) are for presbyopia, usually for ages 40+. They allow you to see distance, computer, and reading zones in one lens without a visible line. We verify all prescriptions for accuracy.
