Visionet Home Try-On — try up to 4 frames at home

Free Home Try-On: Test 4 Frames for 4 Days

Try up to 4 frames at home, for 4 days, free of charge. Visionet lets you test your favorite styles before buying your eyeglasses. Fast delivery available in Metropolitan France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain (peninsula), and Germany.

A credit card pre-authorization is required as a guarantee. Shipping and returns are free if you purchase a frame with prescription lenses. Without an order, a one-time fee of €5 is charged (see FAQ).

How it works Conditions & Eligibility Try-On Tips FAQ

1 Try 4 frames at home: the 5 steps

1 — Choose 4 frames

On each product page, click the “Home Try-On” button to add up to 4 frames to your try-on cart. A credit card pre-authorization is required as a guarantee (no charge if everything is returned in good condition).

2 — Try them for 4 days

Receive your frames at home and test them for 4 days, alone or with friends and family. Take your time to check shape, color, size, and comfort.

3 — Place your final order

Once you’ve chosen your favorite, log in to “My Account,” open your try-on order, and click “Order this frame.” Configure your prescription lenses (index, coatings, blue light filter) and upload your prescription.

4 — Print your free return label

In your shipping confirmation email, you’ll find a link to print your prepaid return label. You can also access it anytime in your account under your try-on order history.

5 — Send back the trial frames

Place the 4 frames back in the box, seal it with tape, attach the prepaid return label, and drop off the package. Keep your proof of deposit.

2 Conditions & Eligibility

  • Zone: Service available in Metropolitan France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain (peninsula), and Germany. For the United States and the United Kingdom, due to local restrictions we cannot offer this Home Try-On service. Customers in these countries may purchase a few frames, try them at home, and then return them for a refund or have prescription lenses fitted to the frame they keep.
  • Guarantee: Credit card pre-authorization (no charge if items are returned in good condition within 4 days).
  • Frames: Up to 4 eyeglass frames (excluding sunglasses, see FAQ).
  • Logistics: Delivery and return via parcel shop only. Returns with prepaid label provided.

3 How to try on at home: optician’s tips

  • Test each frame in different lighting (indoor/outdoor) and from multiple angles.
  • Check the nose fit (no slipping) and temple length.
  • Verify width (not too tight), height (eyebrows visible), and alignment with your eyes.
  • For strong prescriptions (+/-6 or higher), prefer smaller lenses (under 52 mm).
  • Need your pupillary distance (PD)? See our help page how to measure your PD.

FAQ — Visionet Home Try-On

Is the free trial available for sunglasses?

The free Home Try-On with prepaid shipping applies to eyeglasses only. For sunglasses, you can order multiple pairs if you’re unsure — we refund frames you don’t keep according to our return & refund policy.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

A credit card pre-authorization (imprint) is taken as a guarantee. No charge is made if the frames are returned complete and in good condition within 4 days. Some banks display this temporary hold, which usually disappears after ~10 days.

I’ve chosen my frame. What happens next?

Log in to My Account > try-on order > click “Order this frame”. Configure your prescription lenses (index, coatings, blue light filter) and upload your prescription.

Are shipping and returns free?

Yes if you purchase a frame with prescription lenses after your trial. Otherwise, a flat fee of €5 may apply. From the fourth try-on order without purchase, this fee becomes €15 to reflect the real service cost.

Can I try more than 4 frames?

The kit is limited to 4 frames per household to ensure fast delivery and fair stock levels. You may request a second kit after the first return is validated.

Is Home Try-On available in my country?

Available in Metropolitan France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain (peninsula), and Germany.
For the United States and the United Kingdom, due to local restrictions we cannot offer this Home Try-On service. Customers in these countries can instead purchase a few frames, try them at home, and then return them for a refund — or keep their preferred frame and have prescription lenses fitted.
